Alexis loves Grandma T

Grandma T and Aunt Laura just left today and took a trip down to Key West. Alexis was so happy to see both of them and there visit definitely went by too quickly. We stayed in most of the time and just spent time with one another. We also watched some family movies of alexis when she was 1-3 that Grandma T had never seen. Yesterday we took a trip down to Punta Gorda and went to some shops.
Alexis is "Grandmas girl". I used to be but now my little one has totally taken over my role but thats okay. She spoils her soo much!!! (but in a good way)
This weekend we will be taking a trip up to Grandma Kathys house on the river while Vinny has national guard. So it will be like our last mini vacation before Alexis starts kindergarten!
We actually registered her today. I guess this year they need a second chicken pox vaccine so I was unable to do it till she got that.
It was pretty funny the way to the doctors the other day, Vinny came and on the way there he was teasing Alexis(whats new! He loves her!) and telling her how big the needle was! nice vinny! but it didnt bother Ms. Alexis she responded with, "well i am tough".
She didnt even cry either and she was a tough little cookie. We have open house soon too when we get back so we can meet Alexis' teacher.
One last thing and then I need to go pack and get things ready for tomorrow.....well the lady had come and taken Alexis when I was registering her to screen her(to find out if she is ready for kindergarten) and sure enough she passed with flying colors! She also knew alot of her sight words and letter recognitions. Sometimes I ask myself... where the hell does she get her smartness from!!! We will never know haha!
